Sullivan’s Dream Dachshund’s
I am Erin Sullivan, owner and an AKC breeder of long haired miniature dachshunds
in southwestern Virginia in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
About Erin
I started showing and breeding wirehaired dachshunds as a young teen and continued this into my 20’s. I adore the breed.
After raising my own family, I now raise long haired dachshunds and breed for excellent health, temperament and conformation although I no longer show. Most of my dachshunds are used as therapy dogs in my part time counseling practice. I have several past puppies who have gone to lovely show homes.

Erin has been absolutely wonderful to work with. She communicates extremely well and you can tell how much she loves her dogs. Our dog Filbert, has one of the best temperaments we’ve ever encountered with a Dachshund. He’s friendly, extremely happy and very smart. We were able to accomplish his AKC conformation championship in less than a year. As a puppy, he transitioned into our family seamlessly.
Erin, is a wonderful breeder who cares about the quality of the dogs she’s producing. I can’t recommend her highly enough and consider myself lucky to have one of her dogs in my program.

Erin has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You’ll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you’re looking for in a new companion. Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
I am on the good breeder website.

We offer healthy beautiful Dachshunds with wonderful temperaments. Our dogs are our passion and we adore every one of them! Our dogs are bred with the intention of improving the breed to produce beautiful, bright dachshunds with loving temperaments. Several of our keepers are used as therapy dogs in my counseling practice.
I only raise at most two litters per year in order to put the dedicated time, socialization and stimulation into each puppy in order to provide solid quality puppies. I keep a waiting list and interview all potential puppy owners before agreeing to any placement.
